Qalovis Farmer Automatic Energy, with its Head Office in Laer, Westphalia, was established in 2007 as Farmer Automatic Biomass-Technology and is the supplier of integrated energy strategies for transformating biogenic residues into heat, cooling energy and electricity. The target groups include agricultural concerns in the whole of Germany, as well as professional power generators and suppliers in Europe. The director is Peter Vergossen.
Consistent research and development work enables Qalovis to today offer its services in the commercial areas of agriculture, biogas production, supply and disposal, as well as industry.
Qalovis has made a successful breakthrough in the point of efficient and ecological power generation with the complete energy supply system for agriculture which has been awarded several prizes. With the support of the University of Applied Sciences of Münster and the University of Stuttgart, the company has developed a technology which processes animal manure to create electricity and thermal energy. Today Qalovis with its allround systems for pig husbandry numbers among the few complete suppliers in the industry.
As the exclusive representative of Sterling Biopower Products, Qalovis has the European distribution rights for the FleXgen Stirling engine, the first serviceable Stirling engine in the 40 kW/50 Hz class worldwide.
