A new name for environmentally friendly energy generation
The company formerly known as Farmer Automatic Biomass-Technology headquartered in Laer, Germany, now operates under the name of Qalovis Farmer Automatic Energy GmbH. “This step will help us to create a uniform corporate profile which takes account of our holistic energy concepts for converting biogenic residues into heat, cold and electricity”, explained director Peter Vergossen who, together with Franz-Josef Kühlmann, manages the company.
Qalovis Farmer Automatic Energy’s target groups include farms in Germany and professional energy producers and suppliers throughout Europe. Ongoing research and development today enable Qalovis to offer its products and services to the agriculture, biogas production, supply, disposal and industry sectors.
Qalovis Farmer Automatic Energy heralded a technological breakthrough in the conversion of unconventional gaseous fuels into electrical energy with the integration of the FleXgen Stirling engine into a holistic energy concept. The powerful Stirling engine enables energy to be generated from numerous gaseous fuels in an environmentally friendly manner.
The FleXgen Stirling motor was developed and is manufactured by Stirling Biopower Inc. based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. Qalovis Farmer Automatic Energy’s US subsidiary has channeled 30 years of research and development expertise into the new powerful engine. With a nominal rating of 40 kW, the engine uses renewable fuels for the various electricity production demands.
As an all-round pig farming provider, in addition to a biomass treatment system for farmers, Qalovis Farmer Automatic Energy also offers sophisticated integral systems – from pig pen equipment, the transport of manure, drying and energy generation through to the air conditioning of pens.
